What SKY-001 does
- Takes a text prompt or a 2D image (a photo or a rough sketch) as input. [skyfall.ai, press release]
- Splits the object into parts, orders them hierarchically and builds the design one part at a time, as steps that CAD or BIM software can execute. The press release names Autodesk Fusion as an example target. [skyfall.ai, press release]
- Skyfall shows two demonstrated areas: 3D CAD parts (cars, motorbikes, engine parts from one image) and BIM floor plans and buildings (a 36-level tower built level by level). [skyfall.ai]
- It is not a chat model and does not predict the next token, according to Skyfall. It is not a video or image generator either: its output is an engineering construction sequence. [skyfall.ai]

The claims, and what backs them
Skyfall’s launch numbers compare SKY-001 with frontier LLMs on its own CAD and BIM tests. We check each headline figure against the table it comes from.
51× faster than GPT-6 Astra on 3D CAD
Company-reported
Matches the official table: 199 s ÷ 3.9 s = 51.0. [skyfall.ai]
150× lower cost than GPT-6 Astra on 3D CAD
Company-reported
Matches the official table: $0.75 ÷ $0.005 = 150. [skyfall.ai]
118× faster and 188× lower cost on BIM
Company-reported
Matches the official table: 144.4 s ÷ 1.22 s = 118.4 and $0.4465 ÷ $0.00237 = 188.4. [skyfall.ai]
Higher accuracy than every LLM tested
Company-reported
True in both official tables, but the margins are small: 79.7% vs 79.1% IoU on CAD, 43.6% vs 42.3% on BIM. Sample sizes and test sets are not published. [skyfall.ai]
